Purpose and Aim for RiverLakes High School Ministry
Know - The goal that each student would come to KNOW God personally and KNOW Him more through Gospel-centered preaching, Gospel-centered worship and Gospel-centered discipleship. 
Grow - Encourage personal GROWTH and spiritual maturity through a Gospel-centered and biblically formed deeper relationship with God, parents, leaders and peers. 
Go - Provide Gospel-centered support and opportunity for students to GO reach others and to GO serve others

Sunday Mornings

High School currently meets on Sunday mornings at 9:00am in the HS Room (Rm. 213 in the Ed. Building). We worship, fellowship, and engage with God’s Word in the form of a sermon. All high school students are welcome! Come worship with us!

Real Groups

Real Groups are HSM’s weekly discipleship groups. We meet on Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30pm at RCC/in the HS Room. These groups are open to any HS student!

Outing Nights: March 29, April 26 || 6:30 - 8:30pm || HS Room & Off-Campus
No Real Groups: April 5 (Spring Break)
Last Night: May 3 || 6:30 - 8:30pm || Potluck & Share Time! Bring some food and prepare one or two things to share that God has done in the past year or is doing in your life currently.

Need-to-Know

Senior Brunch

May 27 || 9:30am-12:00pm
We are setting aside a special time to recognize and celebrate our seniors with a breakfast celebration and gift ceremony! There will be fellowship, a time of worship, a time of speaking encouragement and edification over you, celebration, and prayer. We hope all of you Seniors are able to make it! RSVP with Sarah Sibecas by May 7.

Graduation Sunday

During HSM Sunday Service
Join us for our regular Sunday worship gathering where our seniors will be uniquely recognized and prayed for by the entire HS Ministry! Parents/Guardians are welcome.

6:33 (Young Adults Ministry)

Once you graduate from HSM, we urge you to continue your connection to RiverLakes through our 6:33 Ministry. They gather weekly on Thursday nights in the Community Center for dinner, fellowship, worship, teaching, and discussion. We also encourage you to attend Sunday Main Service (6:33 sits together at 10:30am service) and to consider where you might serve in the church.

Serve in HSM

This list is by no means exhaustive, but is something to consider as you, HS student, begin praying about where you might get committed to serving the church body/HSM and being salt and light in your community this upcoming year!

Tech Team

Our hope is to have a training during the summer to help equip those of you interested in serving on the tech team on Sunday mornings. Get in touch with Sarah if interested.

Service Outreach

Monthly/Semi-monthly Saturday morning outreach opportunities for all in HSM to serve at (i.e., The Mission at Kern County, Morning Star Fresh Food Ministry, prayer walks, helping out a different ministry here at RCC, etc.).

Small Group Leaders

Directed toward parents, guardians, and/or qualified adults. Serve as a mentor-leader in HSM! If interested, contact HSM Director Bill Wills ((661) 589-9733, ext. 207).

Hospitality

Directed toward parents/guardians and others in the RCC congregation. Providing food, decoration/design help, financial assistance, host homes, miscellaneous game/event supplies, etc.! If interested, contact HSM Assistant Sarah Sibecas.
