I’m passionate about helping today’s students know and follow God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I have the joy of serving and shepherding youth, drawing from my background as a football player at Azusa Pacific University, where I earned a degree in Psychology. I later completed a Master's of Divinity from Gateway Seminary, a Doctorate of Theology from Summit Bible College, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Presbyterian Theological University, where my doctoral research focused on gospel cultivation and communication for Generation Z.

My wife and I were married in 2015 after meeting while serving in Malawi, Africa, where we taught at a primary school (African Bible Colleges-Malawi) and supported/served an orphan/children's ministry (Children of the Nations-Malawi). Since 2018, our family has been grateful to call RiverLakes home. Together with our children—Caleb, Elena, Myla, and Josiah—we love partnering with families and students as they grow in Christ and community.

My heart is to help students experience God’s transforming love, discover their identity in Christ, and live out their calling through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Outside of ministry, I’m a football fan (go San Francisco 49ers!), and I enjoy great food, hiking, movies, coffee, meaningful conversations, and spending time with our bulldog, Butters. Our family is excited to welcome and walk alongside yours!
