On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent. You who put the LORD in remembrance, take no rest, and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes it a praise in the earth.
Isaiah 62:6-7 ESV

On Pentecost Sunday, as many as 100 million Christians will be praying for God to fulfill His promises for Israel. Modern Israel was established in 1948. Christians continue hoping and praying for the fulfillment of God’s promises for Jerusalem and Israel, such as in Isaiah 62:1, “For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch.” (Isa 62:1). Today Christians are praying together on an unprecedented scale for God to establish the righteousness and salvation of Jerusalem. Lord, accomplish all of what you have promised according to your power and for your glory!
