Children’s Ministry believes children can learn from an early age. Therefore, we strive to make the most of the hour and half your children are in Sunday school. We believe God made children tender and are ripe for learning spiritual truths. This is the best time to help them grow spiritually.
Matthew 11:25-26 says, “At that time Jesus declared, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.” The Cambridge Bible says of this passage, “The secrets of the kingdom are not revealed to those who are wise in their own conceit, but to those who have the meekness of infants and the child-like eagerness for knowledge.”
It is encouraging to know that we serve a Big God, who wills for our children to understand His word and who has given us everything we need to disciple our children; His Son, His Word, and the Holy Spirit.

Our Challenge to our families: (1) We will be a church who says, “As for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.” (2) We will be a church who raises Bible-literate people who KNOW Jesus, who will GROW in their relationship with Him and who will GO share their faith.

In fact, that’s our Mission Statement:

Children would KNOW Jesus at an early age, GROW deep roots into His Word and GO share their faith with others.

To support families’ discipleship in the home by teaching God’s Word through loving volunteers.

In a world filled with messages, telling us what is right, what is wrong, and even questioning whether there is a right or wrong, where do you turn for answers? And more importantly, where can you find the right answers? Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6) and then he proved it by being the only person in history to raise himself from the dead. The answers to all of life’s difficult questions can be found in God’s love letter to humanity, the Bible. Let’s take a journey of discovery together and explore God’s roadmap to navigate this complex and confusing adventure called life.

Angels and shepherds and…talking sheep? Oh, my!

People everywhere are making the journey to the place of their birth, in compliance with Caesar’s decree that everyone should register for the census. This results in the little town of Bethlehem overflowing with people arriving from out of town. Nathaniel, a lovable but scatter-brained, late-for-work shepherd, bumps into two of those travelers, Joanna and Simone, as he rushes to take his shift at watching the flock. The other shepherds (his sisters Miriam and Abigail), along with Judah, are waiting for Nathaniel—late once again—to arrive. Thus begins a story that is All About That Baby, with some shepherds, angels, “out-of-towners”…and singing, talking sheep to guide us along the way!
