Usher
Ushers serve as the “doorkeepers” of the church. These men serve as the hosts of the church and ensure attendees feel welcome, cared for, taken care of and appreciated. Ushers accomplish this by extending a friendly and warm greeting to all, help people find a seat in the worship service, ensure visitors receive a welcome packet, answer questions and provide direction concerning the ministry and receive/secure the weekly offering. This is an excellent ministry opportunity for a man, who is committed to following Jesus Christ and has a servant’s heart, to get involved.
