Children’s Ministry believes children can learn from an early age. Therefore, we strive to make the most of the hour and half your children are in Sunday school.
We believe God made children tender and are ripe for learning spiritual truths. This is the best time to help them grow spiritually. Matthew 11:25-26 says, “At that time Jesus declared, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.” The Cambridge Bible says of this passage, “The secrets of the kingdom are not revealed to those who are wise in their own conceit, but to those who have the meekness of infants and the child-like eagerness for knowledge.”
It is encouraging to know that we serve a Big God, who wills for our children to understand His word and who has given us everything we need to disciple our children; His Son, His Word, and the Holy Spirit.

Angels and shepherds and…talking sheep? Oh, my!
People everywhere are making the journey to the place of their birth, in compliance with Caesar’s decree that everyone should register for the census. This results in the little town of Bethlehem overflowing with people arriving from out of town. Nathaniel, a lovable but scatter-brained, late-for-work shepherd, bumps into two of those travelers, Joanna and Simone, as he rushes to take his shift at watching the flock. The other shepherds (his sisters Miriam and Abigail), along with Judah, are waiting for Nathaniel—late once again—to arrive. Thus begins a story that is All About That Baby, with some shepherds, angels, “out-of-towners”…and singing, talking sheep to guide us along the way!

Turn your kids into Galactic Starveyors! As kids focus their telescopes on the marvels painted in the sky by the Creator, they will discover the wonder among all wonders - that the God who created everything there is - the knowable and the unknowable, the visible and the invisible - wants a personal relationship with them! Invite your kids into the clubhouse and show them the God who is over the moon in love with them.

Our 4th graders are about to promote to Pier 56 and say "so long" to the Harbor. We want to go out with a splash and celebrate all God has done in their time in The Harbor. Many of them have been in The Harbor for four years and that is a lot of learning God's Word and character, spiritual growth, and fellowship to celebrate!
Bring: modest swimsuits, towels, sunscreen, and chairs. The whole family is welcome but isn't required to stay.
We desire to spiritually enrich the lives of children with special needs and to provide for their families to help them grow spiritually. Students will experience the joy of knowing they are valued by God and God's people. This class is for any child who has difficulty in a large Sunday school setting.

The AWANA Club is a Bible-centered children's/youth ministry for 3yr-olds through 6th grade which meets weekly during the school year. The evening consists of games, devotional time, scripture memorization and handbook work.
The word AWANA stands for "Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed" and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15. Each year we are excited to see how God will use AWANA for His glory. All of our workers involved with your children love the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior, and it is our sincere desire to help everyone involved to grow in the Lord. The AWANA program is unique in that it helps our children learn about God, exposes them to the Gospel of Christ, helps them hide God's word in their heart, and is a fun and exciting evening.
Online Registration is now closed but you may sign up in the New Registration Room, room 116 of the education building from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
