It's going to be a crazy night!

Guys will be hanging out in the main auditorium and the Girls will be hanging out in the cove.

Check in starts at 6pm. Bring $5 and your sleeping bag.

Psalm 139, "You made all the delicate inner parts of my body and You knit me together in my mother's womb. Thank You for making me so wonderfully complex. Your workmanship is marvelous, and how well I know it. How precious are Your thoughts about me, O God. They are innumerable. I can't even count them. They outnumber the grains of sand. When I wake up in the morning, You are still with me."

We'll be asking the questions:

1) What does it mean to be made in God's image?
2) How should this truth change our life?
3) How do we live out this truth while living in a culture that sells sex?

This Changes EVERYTHING

Join us for our Easter Sunday Worship service on April 24 at 9:30am at the Bright House Amphitheatre at the Park at River Walk.

Parking
There are no special parking arrangements for this year's event. An alternative to parking at the Bright House Amphitheatre is to park in the lot on the northeast corner of Stockdale and Calloway and walk on the bike path to the park. It is a short walk! Seniors: have someone drop you off at the walk (see map) to the Amphitheatre inside the park. Look for the sign! Golf carts will be available for those needing assistance into the amphitheatre.

Easter Invite Cards
Invite cards are available at the Information Center or in the church office. Grab several to hand out to friends and family!

Come Early!
Be sure to arrive early to account for parking and walking. Consider packing a picnic breakfast to enjoy with your family!

Important Parking Information

Many of you have been informed of a parking issue on our campus. Because of a formal complaint filed by a citizen in our community, the City of Bakersfield must enforce a Municipal Code that prohibits anyone from parking on any unpaved areas on our campus.

Effective immediately, we can no longer park on any unpaved locations on our campus. Parking in the following areas is prohibited at all times:

1. Dirt field adjacent to the North Parking lot.
2. All dirt areas on the West Side of the campus by the portable classrooms.
3. All dirt areas adjacent to the South Parking lot by the Main Auditorium.

Cove Christmas Party

Students will take over the facility (Private indoor arenas, filled with gigantic inflatable slides, bounce houses, obstacle courses and more) as we shut off the lights and give everyone glow sticks. The Book of Romans

To know the book of Romans is to know Christianity! Join us for this ongoing class!

What does it mean to be a Christian?  Do you know?  Many people today who call themselves Chrisitians would be hard pressed to explain the term.  Some would talk in generalities about "doing good."  Others would say that Christianity means love.  Others would say it means "following Jesus," though they have only the vaguest idea of what they are talking about.  Every Christian ought to read the Book of Romans.  It was written to explain the faith. (Word in Life Study Bible. 1997 Nashville: Thomas Nelson).   This class is offered at both 9:00am and 10:45am.

Join us for our Easter Sunday Worship service on April 8 at 9:30am at the Bright House Amphitheatre at the Park at River Walk.

Senior Parking
Seniors, have someone drop you off at the walk to the Amphitheatre inside the park. Look for the sign! Golf carts will be available for those needing assistance into the amphitheatre.

Man Up 2012 Conference

On May 5, the ReachLife Institute will be coming to Los Angeles, CA to kick off the vision and need of the Institute. It will be held at Alex Theatre. The event features: Francis Chan and Lecrae! This night will help to ignite the vision that is needed within the urban culture of why sound resources are needed to resource the movement, and also why those that are resourced need to be part of the movement.

We're renting two 11-passenger vans and leaving the church at 12:25pm on Saturday May5, we'll be back about midnight. The cost is $30 which covers the cost of your ticket and transportation. Students have to pay for their own meals. Spots are limited! You can purchase tickets at Revive on Sunday nights.

Junior High Summer Camp

This summer we are taking Junior High students to Cedar Lake Christian Camp to "BE TRANSFORMED." Students will spend the week listening to stories of people transformed by Christ in the bible. Our prayer is that students will walk away transformed by God's word! Sure there's also the crazy fun stuff!! Our games will have a transformer theme, worship will be lead by our own Jordan Bacot and we'll even be taking students down to Cedar Lake for FIREWORKS on the fourth of July!! Bass Lake Summer Camp - Rules of Engagement

Are you ready to engage on the battlefield of life? To know for sure, you need the Rules of Engagement (ROE). ROE are protocol a soldier needs to live by so that he doesn't make a costly mistake in the heat of battle. Did you know that God has his own ROE? Ten to be exact.
