Here are the various teams to volunteer to serve on:

Information Center Team

Volunteers are needed at the Informational Centers located in the Main Auditorium and the Community Center.  This is an opportunity to serve by answering questions about our church ministries and assisting those in need.

Newcomer Team

This ministry introduces newcomers & visitors to RiverLakes Church. If you have a heart for new people and want to help encourage them, this is the job for you! Serve once or twice a month.   

Parking Team

Assist in helping people park for worship services and special events at RiverLakes.  

Communion Team

Communion Team members prepare the elements of the Lord's Supper for the church body. Teams typically serve once every three months  

Greeter Team

This is a great ministry opportunity to express the heart of God for other people. Greeters are often the first people that visitors or regular attendees interact with on a Sunday or at a special church event. The first impression often plays such a significant role in making someone feel welcomed and helping to prepare their hearts for worship. Greeters should have a desire to reflect the love of Christ to others and let them know how thankful we are that they have chosen to be here with us.   

Usher Team

Ushers serve as the "doorkeepers" of the church. These men serve as the hosts of the church and ensure that attendees feel welcome, cared for, taken care of and appreciated. Ushers accomplish this by extending a friendly and warm greeting to all, hand out bulletins, help people find a seat in the worship service, and eceive/secure the weekly offering. 

Children's Ministries

Come impact the next generation for Christ. Be a teacher who prepares and presents the lesson each week and runs the class time. Class helpers support the teacher by interacting with the children, snack preparation, set up and clean up. Work with infants through 4th graders. 

Worship Team

The heart of the worship ministry desires for God’s people to express the truth of His character, His worth and His present work in our lives. During our weekly worship services, the people in the worship teams dedicate their energies to create and lead so that the congregation might focus its full attention on Jesus Christ. Musicians/vocalists who have a high degree of competency and a heart to serve are welcome to begin the audition process by filling out a “Music Ministry Application” form today.

Tech Ministry Team

Our primary purpose is to support the presentation of the gospel at RiverLakes by providing sound, lighting and visual presentation of high quality at all church worship services. Additionally, we provide technical support to many other church programs and events. We have a range of ways to serve for people with no experience to those with professional experience.   

Computer Check-In Team

Volunteers needed at each service to check-in children and Sunday School volunteers. Volunteers usually work two Sundays per month. If you enjoy using computers and welcoming people, this is a great way to serve.
