During The Week
Here are the various teams to volunteer to serve on:
Lawn Mowing
We need volunteers to use our riding lawn mower to keep the south lot grass nice and trimmed. You can volunteer once or as many times as you’d like.
Building and Grounds Maintenance
We have a variety of different projects that need to be done during the year. These include tasks such as light masonry, painting, planting trees, carpet cleaning, etc. With a campus as large as ours, there’s always work to be done!
Bereavement Team
Do you have a heart to help RiverLakes families during their time of loss? The bereavement team serves these hurting families in a few ways. They make calls to recruit donations of food, as well as serve at family gatherings. To volunteer food, make a financial contribution, or help serve, call the church office or fill out the "Contact Details" form to the right.
Special Events
Book and ticket sales, Easter, Bible Conference, Auction, Worship on the Green, Movie Night and everything in between. The requirements are: hardworking, fun, exciting people with "get the job done" attitudes! We depend on these "behind the scenes" people to help with varying aspects of our events from set up to clean up. To be a part of this team when we prepare for our next event, fill out the "Contact Details" form to the right.
Church Cleaning
Help clean the Main Auditorium and the Community Center once a quarter. Duties include cleaning stair railings, table tops, window seals, carpet spots, etc.
Auditorium Chair Set-Up
Help remove chairs and/or set up the auditorium(s) for Sunday services and special events.
Auto Repair Ministry
Auto Repair Ministry - FARM (Faithful Auto Repair Ministry) This men’s ministry donates minor auto repair services to single moms, the elderly, and those with limited income.
Kitchen Cleanup
Team members spend approximately 1-2 hours cleaning the kitchen. Teams consist of 2-3 people who serve on an 8-week rotation.
Sanctuary Helpers
Help us keep both auditorium chairs stocked with cards and Bibles, straightened and picked-up.
