Dan & Devri Wickwire
Dan and Devri have been serving in Ankara, Turkey since 1985. Dan is the founding pastor of the Batikent Protestant Church, a place where the Spirit of God is moving in dreams and visions, where healings and miracles are frequently witnessed and a steady stream of Muslim Turks are coming to faith in Christ and are being integrated into the church. With three full time pastors on staff Dan's main role now is to start up new church plants both within Ankara and in other provinces of Turkey. Dan did studies in Islamic Theology in Turkey and has written several books on Islam in both English and in Turkish.
Prayer Requests:
Pray that in the year 2010 the Batikent Protestant Church will be able to obtain a building of its own. (Dan is currently raising funds for this building project)
Pray that in the next 10 years this church will be able to establish 100 sister churches throughout the provinces of Turkey.
Pray that a 24/7 prayer center will be established within the ancient castle walls of Ankara where the Church of Galatia was located. (Ankara was capitol of Galatia and we have recently discovered an ancient orthodox church for sale within the old castle walls which needs to be restored).
