Summer Camp "Owned"
Join The Cove this summer for a great time of fun, fellowship, and learning from God’s Word. We'll spend 6 days and 5 nights on Catalina Island. We will be tent camping at Hermit Gulch Campground which is just 1 mile outside of Avalon, the main city on Catalina.
Throughout the camp students will compete in games that go along with the theme Owned in addition to and to spend time at the beach, rent bikes and paddleboats, or enjoy the shops and food that Avalon has to offer.
Our speaker for Owned is Brian Murphy. Brian serves as the Executive pastor and loves to see high school students grow as followers of Jesus Christ.
Our theme, Owned comes from 1 Corinthians 6:19b-20 “You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” During our week Brian will explore with our students what it means to have Christ as the owner of our lives and how we live to honor Him.
