Community Outreach Opportunities
Church Without Walls
What Coordinate Sunday School, provide snacks, teaching, crafts, and clothing.
When: Sundays from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Where: Oildale
How Often: Once per week

New Life Church
What: Inner-City Youth Night where volunteers are needed to shoot hoops, play video games, play pool, skateboard, and engage with inner city youth.
When: Fridays from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m.
Where: 1701 Niles
How Often: Twice per month

Flood
What: Food preparation, serving, fellowship, food distribution, adopt-a-family, mid-week office help.
When: Saturday from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Where: 900 22nd Street
How Often: Once per month on the third Saturday

Rescue Mission
What: Assist in serving meals, preparing, clean-up, and office help with phones.
When: 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Where: 816 E. 21st Street
How Often: Nightly

All ministries are in need of Hygiene Kits and Financial Partners
Hygiene Kits
Each kit must contain all of the following: Toothbrush/toothpaste, bar soap, shaving cream/razors, shampoo/conditioner, band-aids, socks (1 pair), brush/comb, hand/body lotion, deodorant, tissues, chapstick, and one washcloth.

Financial Partners
Group or individual donations accepted with checks payable to Riverlakes Community Church and chosen ministry designated. The financial needs are:
Church Without Walls – Ongoing needs for children’s food and clothing.
New Life Church – Food to feed approximately 200 people twice per month. There is also a need for squirt guns and water balloons.
Flood – Food to feed approximately 300 people once per month. Food distribution kits for 300. Each kit cost $4 and contain enough food staples to last a week for one person.
Rescue Mission – Food to feed approximately 200 people once per week.
